The point is that Campbell could have brought in transfers from other places that would have been better than most of the guys he took imo. Yeah I get Rocco, Brahmer, and maybe a few others. The rest weren't even that good of players.

Or it's not by choice. They had 37 players leave (so far) in the transfer portal and he isn't getting any but ISU players biting. This has the makings of complete failure for him now.

I think it’s becoming clear the NIL funds are for loyalists. Which also explains some of the departures.

This could end up being very bad for pedo and Matt before it’s done. Can’t imagine the ‘stayers’ are excited about these developments.

Because Campbell should be competing for the 4 and 5 star athletes that left SEC/Big10 schools. Not raiding an underperforming 8-5 team from what turned out to be a cupcake Big 12 conference as your only source of being able to get literally ANYONE.

Exactly. It’s not so much a knock on the ISU kids as it is a reflection of where PSU expects to be - beating the Ohio St, Indiana, Georgia’s of the world. Without dissing our transfers, you have to have athleticism and talent at a different level than what MC has picked up in the portal thus far. Gonna be fascinating.

Yeah. I've only ever gotten that too, but I've heard of some blood donations making money. Maybe you need a special blood type?

They aren't. There was a PSU player that entered the portal yesterday salty about the players that are being brought in and that it's disrespectful (he stated as such on X)
