I'm an unabashed Campbell supporter. I get that rubs people on here the wrong way. What he did here in his 10 years is incredible. I've been around the AD department and can say with no doubt in my mind that any incoming staff will not be as competent and prepared as Campbells. There is no next level to take the program. He won us a Fiesta Bowl for God sakes. To sit on here and hype up the next coach is fine. Just understand the reality that something special walked out the door.
Maybe. With 20 million less to work with.So just like Curt Cignetti
Doesn't mean something special didn't come. Matt took us to great heights but he didn't peak the summit.I'm an unabashed Campbell supporter. I get that rubs people on here the wrong way. Campbell was great. The staff Rogers has put together is better than the staff Campbell took with him.I'm an unabashed Campbell supporter. I get that rubs people on here the wrong way. Sounds exactly like Cignetti to me. Or Saban. Or many others. In passing. I don't think he's a bad guy at all and it wasn't the sense that I got. Just not very talkative and a no nonsense demeanor. I just think that type of coach is going to have troubles in this college football landscape.
10 years is a lifetime in College football. I get everyone is sore about it. But I do believe he'll be welcomed back in time. It's foolish not to.I was too until he bailed on us. Since he's no longer a Cyclone **** him
I like to wait and see. I'm not into drawing conclusions after a couple weeks. That seems juvenile and not real smart especially when we don't really know what's happening in the football office. What's your biggest cause for optimism?
He's won everywhere he's been. Those who know him highly recommend him. He seems like a players' coach. What's your biggest cause for optimism?
This is the part you need to get your mind around. Time to move on.walked out the door.

If you think we should be competing for national championships then your delusional. Only maybe 15 teams in college football can say they have the ceiling to accomplish that. That's crazy.Doesn't mean something special didn't come. Matt took us to great heights but he didn't peak the summit.
This guy still watches his ex-wfie's dog whenever she needs it to have a romantic getaway with her lover. He still thinks he'll get her back someday.10 years is a lifetime in College football. I get everyone is sore about it. But I do believe he'll be welcomed back in time. It's foolish not to.
That's the point; he walked out the door. So be it. However, if you love him so much, what are you doing here? Go to the PSU board and express your admiration there. Read the room; we're moving on!I'm an unabashed Campbell supporter. I get that rubs people on here the wrong way. What he did here in his 10 years is incredible. And if TJ recommends him that means a lot. He's won everywhere he's been. Those who know him highly recommend him. He seems like a players' coach.
This has to be Matt Campbell or someone related right? We lost to ******* 1 Big 12 win Colorado THIS SEASON. We lost to ******* Ohio for gods sake.I'm an unabashed Campbell supporter. We were one Big 12 Championship away from competing for a national title. The conventional wisdom around here that we can't compete is wrong. If you think we should be competing for national championships then your delusional.
