Defense - Wally fills box and stops run. DBs play tight on line to stop horizontal passing game, leaving deep ball open but Iowa incapable of completing that. Offense - Sam finds open receivers and opens up run game.

ISU is able to score despite Mess due to a surplus of speed. Iowa is able to run the ball and go on long drives. Overall game is shortened. A late turnover is the difference. Turns out to be a much better game than everyone expects.

Pretty close on my score prediction but the game didn't go anywhere near how I expected it to. Iowa did pretty much what I thought they'd do. First game on the road with a young QB, I expected them to run early and often. I expected the run defense to shut ISU down on the ground.

What I didn't expect was for ISU's passing offense to be so bad. Iowa played up on the receivers and dared them to complete a deep pass and they couldn't do it.
