***OFFICIAL NBA DRAFT DISCUSSION***

I'm shocked that Ryan Kelly got drafted, he has no chance of succeeding in the NBA. Don't worry Lakers fans, you might not have Dwight anymore but you got Ryan Kelly lol.
 
I recorded this so I am way behind but Bill Simmons should be on every NBA TV show there is. Mel Kiper knows a lot of **** but the stuff this guy just mentions off-hand is ridiculous. I also still think he should be a GM of some team.

Any time you get a chance to draft Adam Morrison twice, you have to do it.

That kid has a 0% chance of making a team. Do not understand that pick at all.

Ryan Kelly has potential to succeed in the NBA. I am not sure it will happen, but he could develop into a solid stretch 4

He will get absolutely destroyed on defense. He wasn't quick enough to guard people in college. That's a complete waste of a pick.

Hes 6'11 guy with a good offensive game and can stroke it from 3. Not saying he will be great but I think he will be an okay nba player.
 
Not to mention Kelly has a lingering foot injury for which he has missed time each of the last two years.
 
Kelly could be a similar player to Ryan Anderson. I am not saying it will happen, but there is a successful player in the league with a similar base skill set, and similar size and athleticism. It is unlikely to pan out as he is a 2nd round draft pick, but to say he has zero chance is harsh.

You never really know. Ryan Anderson is getting paid. I would draft someone different but guys like him have made it.

I just think in the late first round or second round, why don't teams pick guys with one very good skill. Like Babb for instance. Yeah, he isn't going to score 15 a night but you know he can defend perimeter players and his shooting is gravy. I would pick him ahead of Clyburn just because you know he can defend. What do you really know Will can do? He's just kind of good at everything.

I think Kelly is a good pick. He's probably a 10-15 minute guy, but that can be valuable. Look at the Pacers bench this offseason

Its the 48th pick. You could find things to complain about with any player at this point.
