I think Baylor is going to try for 70 in this game

That might be a bit low I'm afraid. Briles will NOT care if they put 80 on us, trust me. He's a good coach. We have a nice guy on our side.

Okay, I get it. This is a pro team playing a hs team. My concern is that our coaches aren't doing anything to attempt to get into this game. No going for it, no fake punts, onside kicks. Nothing.

There is no mercy rule. They should just keep the clock running and get out of there. Would like to get the goose egg off the scoreboard, but I'm just hoping for no injuries at this point.

Ben Bruns didn't quite call the OL unskilled cowards, but he approached it.

Like Ben said, though, no way would I want to be a QB out there. Might be worth pulling a Grambling for those guys.

Baylor had 8 in the box much of the first half, and had all 11 guys playing within 10 yds of the line of scrimmage. You think other teams don't realize how pathetic we are at throwing the ball downfield. Mess is such an idiot. We never make anyone cover us 10 yds past the line of scrimmage.... EVER!

With a bump at the line of scrimmage, a receiver can't get more than 10 yards downfield in the 1.5 seconds it takes the defense to get to the QB...no need.
