So PR is calling the offense plays and not the OC
The coaching (in every aspect) in the years leading up to gameday was not good enough for the OC play calling to matter as much as it should. We could know exactly what OK ST would do on defense and we would struggle. Hell, we would struggle if the other team played goal line D the entire game.So PR is calling the offense plays and not the OC
Just shows where the fanbase is heading
Anyone with a grain of intelligence knows this one was a good hire.Who is the one that keeps hiring these OC's?
Nothing against you personally, JHUNSY, but the reason that many of us are upset, is the way we continue to lose ballgames. Ahead 6-3, a first down bobbled pass, and a 3rd down "right-on-the-money" pass is dropped so we are forced to give it back to OSU - instead of going into halftime with, at worst, a 6-3 lead. We were moving the ball pretty well in the first half, only to see our "O" fail to punch it in. Then, our special teams, which have been decent this year, totally collapses at the worst time possible - essentially allowing 14 points in a span of less than a minute -- Ballgame! We didn't have to play a "perfect" game against a beat-up OSU team (they have their back-up QB and a fairly inexperienced and not-very-deep OL), to win. But, again, this team invents new ways to lose. Honestly, I never worry about our defense. Wally seems to have a good game plan every game. 17 points was given up today due to the Special Teams collapse and the "O" failing to convert at least one or two first downs right before half! What was the difference in the score today?Keep calm. OSU is another Top 25 team. What did you expect? It is mighty big glass to fill suggesting we should be winning these games.
