Why not backup QB and RB here?
Wasn’t always pretty, but it was a beautiful win
This game is pretty much salted away, but It's nice seeing Hall grinding out yards, clock and first downs at the end of the game...may need that to ice a future game against bigger opponents.
Well, nice win, the game wasn't anywhere need as close as the score.
Oh. Maybe that's why.
Always like a win just prefer not to hit the defibulator in the second half
Didn't CW pick wisco to cover?
The only unfortunate part is that thanks to the refs gifting this game 14 points closer for tech, the score won't look as great to AP voters.
Upon further review, I was almost completely wrong. The call is overturned.
That game started off as a lot of fun and got too close for comfort. Either way a win is a win, but offense needs to be consistent.
Honestly kind of a bummer Spears didn't have a pick 6
Rose looked like he was about ready to lose his lunch there after the kick off.
Makes 5 million a year
Winning by 10 is tough when the refs cause a 21 point swing
Guess he never made it off the island with Thurston...
I am a (almost) 50 year old Iowa State fan...this recent run in our program simply amazes me! To go on the road favored to win...and win relatively convincingly...almost a shrug-your-shoulders kind of win (in my head I will NEVER feel that way about an Iowa State football win)...wow! Enjoy it! It is fun! Not that long ago a conference road win would send me out drinking in celebration! This is great! Go STATE!!!
Great to still win by ten on the road with lots of mistakes and a TD wrongfully erased.
Clean it up a little and sky is the limit the last five games.
Is it possible to be sloppily dominant? Clones had 10 yards per play on 56 plays. TTU held to 4.7 ypp on 86 plays. The defense looked not great at times, but looking at those numbers you can see the mathematical beauty of the Heacock system.
Did anyone see what happened on the play?
