Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

Of course the co-shout-out to @CycloneRulzzz and @MeanDean w/ the OTN collaboration, plus longtime/consistent participants who have helped the series flourish.

Must mention @ImJustKCClone, as co-administrator for Auto-Bid Madness + her quality work with other sports pools.

And, of course, @Angie.

Not possible to mention everyone by screen name. I'm happy to be part of the community and that everyone generally seems to tolerate my presence.

We just got home from Vegas, and HyVee was closed (Good for them!!) so we found some turkey pot pies in the freezer, and we're having those for supper.

And on a more serious note - now that I am no longer in the working community, I find the conversations here to be a valuable thing to me. I'm grateful for the friends I've made, both online and in person, grateful for the discussions, the arguments, and the pissing matches in the Cave (they can be kind of fun sometimes!), grateful for the entertainment value from this site, grateful for the education in tech and sports, grateful for the hard work from the mods to keep this place...um...NOT like some other message boards where it's a free for all, grateful for my behind the scenes partners in crime, @CycloneRulzzz and @cyclones500, and most of all, grateful for the acceptance I have found from most of you.

Happy Thanksgiving to one and all - blessings to you and yours.

FYI on Facebook I did a 30 days of thankfulness challenge.

CF was day 30.

For all that aren't friends on FB here is what I wrote.

Day 30. I opened this with a special group of people in my Old Chicago family and want to end with equally amazing group.

I'm thankful for Cyclone Fanatic community. It's more than just a message board It's like an extended Cyclone family.

Whether it was pickup basketball making an old guy feel athletic again to a jersey with my username on it, to going to a football game together. From flowers and kind thoughts when covid put me in the hospital to all the encouragement this time last year when I was out of work.

It was a tough year as CF lost a very special person way too soon.

I'm so thankful for you all.
