As bad as Gilbert has been throwing, AA has been worse. Had he just lobbed that opposite end goalline pass to Franklin, it would have been a 30+ yard gain, instead we get a high overthrown bullet. Franklin was on another planet wide open.

The onside kick call was clearly a good call since it was such a gimme, but that was probably the second best play call of the game so far.

Texas is deeper, bigger, faster, and stronger than Iowa State. That is going to show in the 2nd half.
