As an OC, if you can't see that speed O and putting this UNI team on their heals doesn't work, you do need to go. Going up to the line and taking your time only lets the D get themselves set for you are running. Our best plays came during hurry up Offense. This is dumb. Herman's O is dumb and Mes is even dumber for continuing it.
I will give the defense a break, they have been much improved since CPR got here.

i will give them a little slack this game they have some legit excuses for not being good. offense doesn't.
If James White can get 9 yards on 1st down, can we at least try a similar play with the same player one more time before punting it away? Their defense is tired. We don't need to over-think this.

I will say the pistol has been okay tonight. But why the OC continues to move away from what works and take so long to run plays is beyond me. Half the reason the spread works is because of the quick hit nature of it. We take to long to run plays both pre and post snap.

That two minute drill pretty much wraps this thread in a nice little bow. That team was completely unprepared for the two minute drill. How many times do we have to watch a QB throw to a receiver on 3rd or 4th down short of the sticks. ****** it isn't that ******* hard to figure out! That was a ******** from start to finish.
Someone, hopefully CPR, needs to decide if we are a running team or passing team. I really don't care which, I do feel ISU would be better served to be a running team. But choose one and stick with it. For god sake it can't be worse than what we watched tonight and what we watched in the bowl game. Maybe if we decide to do one or the other we can get an offensive line to block.
