I really wanted to see Argentina get it done in this tournament, but their Federation is just a ridiculous, hot mess right now. It wouldn't shock me if Messi decides to retire from international play again (whether it's permanent or not is another story).
Mbappe should leave PSG and go somewhere where he can win champions league and real league titles in somewhere other than France. Heck of a talent.
I would be very disappointed if Messi does, but I won’t be shocked either.
Also I just can’t get over how a talent like Dybala doesn’t play. I don’t get it at all. I know the manager has said he doesn’t fit with the team at the moment, but he’s the teams 2nd best player. You have to play him.
Yeah, I've always been an Argentina fan because they were usually fun to watch. The last two cycles have just been a circus and I don't think there's much of a reason to assume it'll be any better next time.
Cavani and Suarez just taking control on that goal. Cavani drops in the middle, gets on the ball, takes it wide right, and then crosses to the far left to Suarez. Suarez then crosses the ball back to the far post where Cavani has made his run and finishes it off.
Spain is very average. They may be fortunate to win this one, but Croatia is beating them easily next round.
