The problem is can we trust anything positive that comes out of this game? It is Drake and they stink and we've seen ISU bully bad teams before. We are suppose to beat them by 20. So anything close to less than that will be disappointing.

Maybe its the weather or maybe it's because it will probably be a blowout, or maybe its something else. But, i can't remember the last time I wasn't excited to watch ISU play...until today.

That said, I see a victory of at least 20 points.

Feels way longer than 9 days since the squad hit the court. Drake and MSVSt should be an opportunity to work on the tempo and get the swagger back before the holiday break. Already dreading the 10 day layoff after Tuesday.

Yep cheering for UNI in the other one because they are not Iowa. The UNI fans that I know personally cheer UNI, ISU want Iowa to lose.

Not a lot but we can take away some. Seeing better shot selection, ball movement, an passing would be notable even if we are just playing Drake

Not excited at all about this game. Still in Iowa State basketball depression over that debacle in IC.

I just hope our players aren't in the same mood I am about this game. Anything besides a 15+ point win will be embarrassing IMO.

Personally, I think we have about the worst possible record we could have possibly had at this point. Haven't beaten anyone we shouldn't have, and lost to a really bad Iowa squad. Fought tough against a really good Gonzaga team is probably the highlight of the season thus far.

Thank goodness it's game day. I don't care how bad we played the previous game, I'm always excited for a game like this after 9 days without Cyclone basketball and fridged winter weather.
