kilroy- when would you say the "Golden Age" of NASCAR was? Just curious.
This is a loaded question.
I love that the cars in the 60-70s and even some into the 80's actually used to be the cars right off the assembly line with roll cages installed in them.
But the late 80's earnhardt/bill elliot era was some good racing.
As usual when you look back you never see the bad and the problem with the 70s was that often races were won by LAPS not by seconds, and they didnt have enough competitive teams.
I wish they had to take cars and make them race cars.
I gonna wish wash on you and say every era has some good and some bad racing in it but I used to like the "stock" cars better.
