That's my argument about expanding, it'll open the door for 3 SEC teams.

Eh, if we expand with autobids, maybe we get 3 SEC teams, but more likely just 2.

At least then we wont see conference champions excluded to satisfy their annual SEC circlejerk though.

I thought I heard somewhere it is an additional $600k per Big 12 team if you get a team in the playoffs. ISU can sure do a ton with that kind of money.

I'm purposefully not watching, but I'm not sure it does. OU was clearly deserving of being in the playoff. The worry was how biased the committee was going to be. I still think that they will try and pull funny business when they can somewhat justify it.

OU in the playoff and Texas in the Sugar Bowl will mean a lot more than $600K to ISU compared to last year.
