Do you at least get to twelve first or say **** it and go to 16. When all this goes down the ACC will become a used to be Big East conference.

FWIW:

Apparently according to ACC bylaws, the ACC is required to announce any meetings to change the bylaws (or in this case an exit fee increase) 15 days prior to the meeting. According to sources, the ACC did not do this, and this is one of the legal arguments MD will use in order to get out of the 52 Million exit fee.

Tweeted by the Dude...so take it for entertainment purposes only...

That's not just entertainment.

Copy of the suit.

Mentions the 15 days, and also that any changes would not have been in effect until next year by the acc bylaws. Even if the withdrawal penalty were enforceable (which it looks like it shouldnt be as it would be viewed as punitive), it seems that the penalty was put in place in violation of ACC bylaws so UMD seems like it would have the upper hand here.

Well that is just a pain in the buns for the ACC now isn't it? Doing my finger stretches now to get ready for the bomb to go off.

I also think they have leverage for negotiating especially if they bring more dollars to the conference.

Twitter rumor that Big 12 schools have been told to stop scheduling past 2014 (someone asked The Dude, FWIW...) If true, could mean something. Or nothing. Hope we have productive meetings next week!

So people think that the big 12 is going to take away the ACC's top programs and the ACC is still going to do a scheduling alliance with them? That seems like a reach. That's like stealing a guy's girlfriend and then asking him if he wants to go out on a double date.
You mean like we did with sec &m champions bowl

So The Dude is over there on the Twitter saying WVU will earn $9 million on the tier 3 inventory.

Holy smokes! Given that WVU will get that type of scratch I have to wonder what an FSU/Miami channel would pull in per year.

By the way...what is the estimated income our Clones expect from the tier 3?

On Twitter, Manti Te'o had a girlfriend, too.

Meh, it is still undetermined whether that or the conference network model is the way to go, unless you are UT.

The waiting game continues.

Is Mediacom paying anything to carry cyclones.tv? I would think that there is some extra revenue coming from that, plus online subs.
yes in the form of sponsorship through our deal with learfield/ cyclone sports properties. Plus any adverising we sell for it. Individual sponsorships arent disclosed.
