And nowhere in football does one team have to play down 1 man (or more).
Big Austria fan here this afternoon. Clearly not looking past Belgium, but would nice to see a reasonable path to the semis be opened up.
No, it’s denial of a goal scoring opportunity. It’s more like chasing down a running back who broke away with a scooter.
You only get a handful of true scoring chances in soccer and a keeper who takes one away by handling the ball outside the PA deserves to be sent off.
The worst part about soccer is when a player grabs their head after being hit on the shoulder.
Blood pressure was actually pretty low when I posted that. Was just practicing my sailor-nese for fun.
I do however, find it rather amusing that people just can’t control themselves and think that other people really need to hear how much they don’t like a particular sport.
Even better when they propose improvements on how to fix a game that they don’t even watch or understand.
I don’t say this to push people away from the sport. The more new people the married actually! But there is the right away to approach certain discussions in a productive and respectful manner that won’t insult the fans of the sport. I’m sure some of those poster really wouldn’t enjoy if I were to go into threads about a couple of the niche Iowa sports and started to **** all over their sport and proposing how to make it better.
