no wonder they all fall down like they were shot by sniper at every contact.
Losing a position on the field and the player for 1.5 games over that is terrible. The penalties in this sport ******* ruin it.
This may be a dumber rule than college football helmet to helmet rules.
And that is why I don't watch soccer, serves me right for forgetting that.
If you are talking about what I think you are that was 100x more worthy of a red card.
If we win we at least get to play 11-11 next game
The idea that that accidental play costs a player 1.3 games in the knockout round of the World Cup is insane.
Agreed. So many collisions with head contact that aren’t even a foul, yet touch a player with your cleats and you’re out of the game. Just doesn’t make sense.
For as many cards as the ref could have given Bosnia for pulling down our players, that was a horrendous straight red!!

Right. We would be able to replace him and play a full squad. This last 20-25 minutes is going to suck though.
