Possible derecho today in MT/ND...

...20Z Update...
A Category 4/Moderate Risk was introduced to portions of the
northern High Plains. Confidence is increasing in a well-defined
cold-pool-driven bow echo MCS developing across portions of the
northern High Plains later this afternoon. A potentially dense swath
of 60-100 mph gusts appears likely, and a derecho may occur. Current
observations depict a near stationary surface boundary across far
southeastern MT northeastward into western ND along an elongated
surface trough.

Not bad at all. Zero rain. Her plane got in about 25 minutes late and baggage took forever, left the airport a little before 1 a.m., tons of lightning in all directions but that was it. Almost hit a massive raccoon on the drive home, I hate driving highways late, late night, but that was the scariest part.
Glad you are safe and sound.

Baseball sure has been fun so far this week. Never good to have swamp ass before you even see a pitch.

Just got done washing and vacuuming out one of the cars, and damn, this is Dallas heat. Waxing and detailing the interior is going to be a tad warm. Plenty of breaks and thinking about a few cold beers when finished is going to be needed to get through this.

El Nino monsoons are back yay.
Garden hoses and drip hoses are being put a way for the year, everything is mulched and the forecast looks wet for the rest of June.
Expecting bumper grain crops.

I’ve never waxed the interior of my car

Saw the tail end of the game. Cardinal won 14-7. Heat index was 110 when it finished. Home plate ump had to leave (don’t think it was heat related, probably had something else) and so the bottom of the seventh the infield ump called balls and strikes. No concessions. Surprised there were several parents. Nice breeze at times and it wasn’t bad when clouds hid the sun. But it was not fun when the sun came out.
