***OFFICIAL 2026 WEATHER THREAD***

Springs lately haven’t been bad. Been a few years since we’ve battled the March and April snows. Falls have been nice other than it seems like every September we get a long stretch of 90 degree temps after a mild August.

Dewpoint in Twin Cities is back up to 70° at 9 PM.

When it gets really humid here I like to check on the two worst places for humidity in the USA, Houston and Vicksburg. It's currently only 75° there but dewpoint is also 75°. Ack! And 79° in Houston with a dewpoint of 75°. Damn. Who would ever want to live there! Been both places in July and it was horrible.

Spent a week or so in Houston in August and can confirm - was absolutely brutal. 90% of time outside was spent in the hotel pool/lazy river, which lead to a rather dramatic pool bar tab, but it was worth it.

Texas during the summer is unbearable, it's the major reason we never visit our son in Dallas in July and August, just too damn hot.
