And that was actually quite an enjoyable final 4. I’m not positive, that’s the only time the big east put three teams in the final four they were a real juggernaut for a while.
I jinxed Houston. Told my Hawk brother they would have tougher game vs Houston than they had vs Neb after they won. Thought Htown was a lock. Haven't been watching game but just checked box score, they forgot to score
True. And you know how ESPN already acts towards that conference, it'll be even more of a biased suckfest...but...
It all comes down to who wins the title, that is ultimately the final judgement of the conference's tourney success. And the eye test is making it hard for me to see one of these teams taking down Arizona with how they're playing.
Bad matchups happen. ISU wants nothing to do with teams that don’t panic when trapped, pass well out of trouble, and hit a high percentage of 3s… so, as bad as it sounds, hope MI wins tomorrow night because that’s Alabama.
Guards are not their problem. Inside offense is dogcrap. Tugler has no skill and Cenac is a puss that wants to shoot 3s.

I agree, though I also don't really see anyone running the offense. All of their guards are combo guards with similar skill sets. Lack a true PG imo. A lot more holes than usual. Flemings makes up for some of it with his scoring ability but it isn't enough.
lol, idk really...I just know games that are low scoring, physical, lots of fouls/out of bounds/whistles/etc. get called rock fights and slogs so I guess I just used them interchangeably there.

Huh…. do people not even care if what they say is logical. Iowa finished eighth in the Big Ten, Michigan, Michigan State, Illinois and Purdue beat Iowa every single time they played them…. Purdue by 20plus & Michigan State by 19. I would guess Iowa would very much like to miss any of those teams.
That’s the problem… rivalries and hate watching do not go hand-in-hand with Smart basketball analysis. Iowa State and Arizona are two other teams that would be very difficult for Iowa.

Eh, they don't have a guy to run the show. Flemings is a scorer that doesn't really facilitate and Uzan and Sharp are great complimentary pieces but struggle to get their own.
