I joked the other day, but that’s the system. Refs are more likely to call fouls when they can anticipate a shot going off and often Iowa hasn’t gotten passed the defender and goes through or into him in the last seconds of a shot clock when the refs anticipate a shot is imminent.

I bet data backs this up. Fouls in the final seconds of a shot clock drastically favor the offense.

this looks like the exact opposite of our game.... Florida playing like total crap this half, and might actually have the lead at half. And then Florida will hopefully get hot and not turn it over like this in the 2nd half and pull away.

They're big for sure, but Okpara doesn't score all that much, and Ament is really inefficient, 40% from the field. He's also a bone rack, 6'10" 207 lbs, Nate Heise will hip-check him into the third row.

They were very much expected to instantly come and be exactly what Iowa has always been - a mediocre middle of the big10 team. He had an entire freaking roster in his system for years. He didn't have to literally build anything in year 1. Fran has consistently done this for 10+ years, and all he had to do was simply do THAT.

15-15!? Come the f*** on. In the big10 conference when half the teams punt basketball!? That's ridiculously disingenuous.

He is a giant, self-proclaimsd, lifetime suckeye douche. He comes off as a total and complete prick in every setting. Seriously, get Dedric out of your name if you're going to glaze a suckeye coach on the day we go to a Sweet 16.

I don't know that I've ever wanted to root more against an opposing coach. He's insanely unlikeable in every single traditional suckeye sense. All he and his players do is b*tch constantly. So goddamn cringe on the sidelines. What on planet Earth suggests he can consistently recruit high school players and transfers to that style of play at this level!? And no, it does not count when you bring a full roster of experience in year 1.

Nobody expected Iowa to do anything this year. Turn you're d-bag level down to 5 at least. Until we make it past the Sweet 16 just shut the **** up. I have my own reasons why I don't mind the guy. I don't care about your pathetic hatred for Iowa. Its ******* pathetic. JfC until ISU makes it past the sweet 16 I don't want to hear another ******* word about how great our program is. JFC I hate our d-bag fans sometimes.

His gold tie is tacky and obnoxious.

They struck out in the portal other than getting Drake's roster, I don't know why there's such a "He's a great recruiter" vibe around him. I'm taking a rain check until we see how he does without the built-in All-American point guard.
