He’s athletic, can rebound and plays solid defense. Have to also keep in mind he was being coached by a moron and on the same team as PJ Haggerty.

Low end he's another Mulder, high end he's a poor man's Tre King. Somewhere in the middle he's a shorter but just as scrappy Chatfield.
Agreed not sure what the plan is for Mitchell, especially if we do get another PF as well. I mean if he's fine playing in maybe 15 games for the year more the merrier of course.
What I'm the most curious about is his somewhat invisible Sophomore season. I'm assuming injury so maybe he's a possible 2 year guy? Probably not, but wishful.
You’re underselling. He’s a very physical presence. Would have really helped v Tennessee. I think he ends up our #2 PF unless Kiss overtakes him. Maybe a 15 minute guy behind the NW kid.

Compare was because of body type. He’s 6-5, 205. Sharp is 6-3, 210. Big guard. Three point shot percentage very similar. Ability to use the big body to drive to the rim.

He's not going to play a lot

Can never have too much front court depth. Especially ones who can play in TJ’s system. Athletic bigs are hard to find
I don’t see him as a starter, but could be a part of the rotation. Could also allow the bigs to be more aggressive on defense with the extra depth
He’s better than Mulder - is that enough?
He’s a defense and rebounding backup up ‘4’ that we didn’t have this year. He’s a very good offensive rebounder.
Mitchell is a 3 that avg 35 ppg his senior year. He is a scorer, i believe his defense is what is on question.
