Would he be a Junior this season or a sophmore? Those are pretty solid numbers for a sophmore

Not a single person on this board would be interested in Rancik if his last name were not Rancik. I find it bizarre.
We just need JV matches in the Big 12It'd be so cool to be able to send freshman that you know won't have a chance at minutes to a mid-major like this and get them back already developed. Can we start that with San Diego with Blout there now?
Yeah, good, but not at the level where top-tier teams are lining up and offering triple what we can. Seems like he fits the mold of our typical transfer target.Kid averaged 12 points and 5.5 rebounds shooting 33% from 3 this year in the Big12. Made a significant jump from his freshman season. Not really that outlandish to think he could help next year’s team. And who's to say he doesn't make another jump his junior year?
Got homesick I believe and went home is what they were saying at the time. Also not a big fan of the work outs.Love to know what happened to Pierce? My son played against him in high school. My guess is he wasn't the right cultural fit but I know nothing on that front and would love to know more.
Can't wait for Bart Torvik to activate his portal additions feature and start GM'ing the 2026/27 teamMy dream list would be Daniel Freitag from Buffalo and Colorados big man. If Mommy leaves we could get another 3/4 type guy
He looks as old as Greg Oden did in college.Dude looks like he's 36
Freitag would be a perfect fit from a “needs” perspective, meaning he would fit a need for what we should be looking for, but I’m just not seeing it happening. I’d be surprised if we don’t at least call though.Daniel Freitag would be a great backup PG to Toure or add competition to the 2 guard spot with Bateman and Williams. A 4-guard back court of Toure, Bateman, Williams, and Freitag would be high-level.

Decent 3 shooting on high volume and a mid-major. I believe we were hard after him in HS and he's from Wisconsin. Easy recruiting pitch, just show him Curtis Jones' ISU career
Disagree. A 6'-11" guy that can shoot the 3 and averaged 12.3pts, 5.6rebs/game at a P5 school, and has 2 years to play? He's mentioned as a possible transfer only because of his dad's connection. He'd be a good addition regardless. Those numbers compare favorably to Buchanan, Jefferson and Jackson before they came here. Not a single person on this board would be interested in Rancik if his last name were not Rancik. Really, it all comes down to whether the staff likes his defense and how hard he works on both ends (along with whether he even is interested)Disagree. Johnson or Hamilton fill that roll. Are we seriously 214 posts in and I'm the only one wanting to target someone with a Presidential last name? That cant be too hard can it? If the kid is 7'0, 270# and 85% FT all while having the last name of a President....good lord!
