It'd be so cool to be able to send freshman that you know won't have a chance at minutes to a mid-major like this and get them back already developed. Can we start that with San Diego with Blout there now?
Kid averaged 12 points and 5.5 rebounds shooting 33% from 3 this year in the Big12. Made a significant jump from his freshman season. Not really that outlandish to think he could help next year’s team. And who's to say he doesn't make another jump his junior year?
Yeah, good, but not at the level where top-tier teams are lining up and offering triple what we can. Seems like he fits the mold of our typical transfer target.
Daniel Freitag would be a great backup PG to Toure or add competition to the 2 guard spot with Bateman and Williams. A 4-guard back court of Toure, Bateman, Williams, and Freitag would be high-level.

Freitag would be a perfect fit from a “needs” perspective, meaning he would fit a need for what we should be looking for, but I’m just not seeing it happening. Disagree. A 6'-11" guy that can shoot the 3 and averaged 12.3pts, 5.6rebs/game at a P5 school, and has 2 years to play? He's mentioned as a possible transfer only because of his dad's connection. He'd be a good addition regardless. Those numbers compare favorably to Buchanan, Jefferson and Jackson before they came here.
