Saw a pic with someone in kayak along a street near downtown. Grand is closed by the RR underpass, imagine that.
I checked my gauge a few minutes ago, it generally runs high, but I had 3.4 inches of rain this afternoon, after 1.4 inches of rain this morning. My wife had her hair done down on Lincoln Way and she struggled getting back home. Lots of streets had water running over them and on Stange going North, people were turning east into the college marriage housing lot and working their way north up to 24th street. She said the pickup in front of her, drove through the water and it was up to and over his running boards on the truck.

The Greater Iowa Credit Union in Somerset is closed due to flooding, they're hoping to be open Monday.

video hitting my fb of flash flooding in Dubuque hills, imagine the streets will be a mess shortly.

Looking at the radar have a feeling flooding in Eastern Iowa is going to be an issue.

I'm gonna be in eastern Iowa this next week and was going to fish a couple of favorite streams.

That now looks unlikely.
