Was really hoping for some more rain this afternoon, not only could we use it, but our 9 year old granddaughter has a softball game in Nevada tonight, and I hate the thought of setting out in this crap for 90 minutes and freezing, watching kids that care more about drawing in the dirt with their shoes than playing.
Up to 8/10 an inch now. I'm a fan of these breaks in between down pours to let things soak in.
Something is better than nothing, but was hoping for the 2-3" soaker that had been talked about.

I have a ton of flowering plants in pots that my wife insists on having on our patio every year. I can assure you from personal experience there is an amount of water for them that’s too much, lol.
I’m sitting at 2.4” near the Ankeny airport on the day with more coming. It couldn’t have come at a better time. Sure glad I had my second May mowing yesterday.
As of 6:00 pm last night I had exactly 1 inch. Dumped the gauge. Just checked again and got 3.2 inches overnight. I'm in Urbandale.
