This was a nice day of sun, perfect 60-70F weather, and no wind, a rarity for central Iowa.
Too bad about that potential tornado risk next Thursday eh.
For what's worth the SPC has been more aggressive with slapping Day 5-6 severe weather risks this year due to advances in machine learning and AI in weather prediction, but the parameter space is nothing to sneeze at according to NWS Des Moines.
