I remember when Kansas & Oklahoma use to be the major tornado alley but now seems like it is more Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi.
Isn't that just time of year?

~February-April = Dixie Alley
~April-June = Tornado Alley

I always thought that May 15th was the last freeze date in North Central Iowa. My wife won't plant tomatoes until then.
I know the “normal” frost date but I’m specifically asking about here and now, does the long term forecast have it? The normal one is just the average of the last so many X decades of data anyway. I usually have Mother’s Day as a rule of thumb this is just my curiosity

May 6 or 7 is my new last frost date based on shifting zones. That's for 5A. But I also didn't see more cold days but I'll hold til the 1st till I get antsy on anything cold sensitive.
