Great, now the tv at the hotel went down. It's satellite but the guide works, and I can flip through channels and I'll get the little info window indicating the show, but no picture
That is some very wet and heavy snow. I just finished round 2. If I waited and tried doing all of that just once after it was all piled up I'd be dead.
Especially the ends of driveways after your street is plowed. I had just finished cleaning my 3rd driveway when the plow went by. That was some wet heavy crap!! If I had waited until morning it could have a solid mass of ice! I also cleared the end of two other neighbors driveways.
I go to the next level and clear a few widths in the street next to the curb. Sounds silly but when the plow comes by it makes it real easy, sometimes not even necessary to clear out the end of driveway.

I do the same. I figure I'm going to be moving that snow one way or the other, may as well move it now before it gets turned into a solid pile in my driveway later.
Me too! And our mail person lives next door. He loves the mailboxes cleared to the curb. I go 3 houses down the street and blow it to the other side of the street! No one lives on the other side its a park. With no parking or driveways.
Just plowed the driveway, the snow really accumulated during the game. As of now 8ish inches

I used to do that and I swear, they would back up to get a better load to fill my driveway
I started doing this a few years ago as well, it is more work on the front end but makes a big difference when the street plows come through. Saves a ton of work in the end.
Because I have trouble getting traction with my 4 wheeler (yes I have chains on the tires) when it's deep heavy snow. So I try to plow early and then again when it's done.
We had an unexpected trip to urgent care in DSM, 65/69 from Warren County was basically one lane and slow going, went no faster than 35 mph both ways.
Is that even an option anymore? Asking for a friend that is stuck in a hotel during a blizzard
