Honestly, enough Ben phucking Brown already. What part of his 6-ish MLB ERA did Jed find interesting enough to bring him back up from Iowa? Flexen would have been a much better choice for a piggyback option. And all of this against a Royals team that literally cannot hit?? Anger.

He was dominating at AAA, he only gave up something like 4 hits in 35 batters faced. We don't really have any better options at this point. The Assad and Steele injuries have really lead to zero depth.

Royals pitching is the only thing that has allowed them to not be out of contention. Their offense has been awful, mostly.

Bottom line, we need to trade like this week for a starter. Brewers are playing way too well right now to be complacent. Last thing I want to see is them jump out to a 4-5 game lead.

Flexen is having the kind of night I have pitching slow pitch softball. Get some good outs then the wheels fall off and you are left out to dry when the score gets out of hand.

I want Sale from Atlanta. Offer any 2 of our "top" prospects--Moises, Caissie, Triantos, Alcantara, Wiggins.

I would like a better 3B option than Shaw, but given the quality of the rest of the offense (and his defensive chops/speed), I'm not convinced it's an absolute priority.

I want a proven late-inning reliever, doesn't have to be a defined "closer."

I want someone on the bench that can friggin' hit.

My bestie is a life-long Royals homer, so tonight was painful as you'd imagine. We're both 100% Cyclones though, so all's well with a nice drink LOL.

If they win tonight, 11 straight will only be the third time in FRANCHISE HISTORY that would have occurred. But hey, I guess that's what we get throwing Brown out there to the wolves.

We don't even know when Sale is going to pitch again and if he'll have anything. Plus, two of those guys is a GIANT overpay. Triantos is the only one of that group that I'd even consider for a guy with all those questions and that's why the Braves aren't going to move him.
