*** Official 2025 Chicago Cubs Thread***

Starting pitcher hurt and the bullpen having to battle, time for the offense to step it up and hel...bahahhhaha I can't even say it with a straight face. These guys suck.
Come on now....there's hope. We do have two whopping hits through seven innings, after all. ;).

Putting an I-Cub who hasn't pitched in the majors since May into the game in the high leverage situation in the biggest game of the year so far is certainly a decision...

Boo these chumps off the field the 2nd game. I hate this organization with every ounce of me.

I'd be worried but we dealt for Soroka at the deadline

The important thing here is that Tommy Nickels gets collect two games worth of revenue in the same day.

Eyes on the prize, guys.

Shocker, Cubs once again mismanaged an injury hoping the player could work through it without an IL stint. Seen this with Nico Swanson Happ and Seiya in recent years and apparently now Tucker.
If he is injured, it is not bad enough to go to IL. He just needs few days of rest

Hes played like crap since he got hurt and finally 2.5 months later they think its time to rest him? Its obviously affected his play so maybe this should of happened sooner than later? Swanson and Nico both played hurt for extended periods the past 2 seconds and they hid it as long as they could before revealing that is why we say the drop in production. That's a management issue IMO both front office and manager to let a guy struggle for extended period of time before admitting maybe playing hurt was not the right move.
