This was brought up in the NWS/media chatroom, NWS thinks outflow winds likely.This one could be interesting and I am not sure how much @FDWxMan can chime in given his job. Microburst would make sense as they were somewhat dying at that time but what catches my eyes for the tornado aspect is debris goes one way and then a little bit the other way.
-Storms outflow dominate at the time, with the outflow well ahead of the storms
-Tree damage motion is downward, whereas tornado should be upward.
-Change of direction could be from local eddy as winds moved through. (Think of atmosphere as a fluid)
