Are we anticipating the high winds will persist as it heads east? I'm in CR/Marion and not sure if I should bring in my lawn furniture.

No. No further watches or warnings have been issued. In fact the last warning was allowed to expire and replaced by an advisory for 40mph winds
Just a lightning show here in Newton, gravel isn't even wet. Heading out.
Lincoln is under mandatory water restrictions due to all 44 wellfields having no power, which is supplied by OPPD. Lots of tree damage around here as well, but Omaha got shredded yesterday. Elkhorn/Waterloo can't catch a break this year (same can be said for most of Iowa too).

Got a half inch of rain and a pretty normal night's sleep (stayed up about an hour later just to make sure things were calm enough for my pup to settle down).
This one could be interesting and I am not sure how much @FDWxMan can chime in given his job. Microburst would make sense as they were somewhat dying at that time but what catches my eyes for the tornado aspect is debris goes one way and then a little bit the other way.
I drove through there today. One block got absolutely hammered. 2-3 houses had large trees come down on them. Then everything around it was basically untouched. I lived in Beaverdale during the derecho, and the damage on this one block was worse than that.
Weather has been really sucky for the National Balloon Classic in Indianola. They've only flown one night all week, normally they fly mornings and evenings every day. Hopefully the rest of the week smooths out for them.
