I’m still judging you.

I promise we were good lol. Tv + radar app. No hail, no winds switching around, no creepy clouds, good view of the area it was coming from. And nothing on radar to indicate anything was coming down. Spouse also felt good. But I do recognize and recommend basements for best safety!!

If I take one step into grass I'm basically fresh meat.

Clay County Speedway in Spencer is supposed to have a $15000 to win race on July 9

And I'm pretty sure the anchor called it "Sioux Falls, North Dakota".

That's a couple a weeks so maybe? Right now it is out of water, sewer and electric. The radio station went off air around noon because of flooding at the little shed at the base of the tower from what I was told.

Yeah it's also mid to upper 60s currently, temp wise a dew point at 65 is 95% humidity.

It was unreal. We were going to go Friday/Saturday on way back from Black Hills(not one drop of rain there for 5 days). Looked at track yesterday afternoon on the way back thru if was crazy. Lady at the c store in Brandon said it was way down from the day before. Can't imagine what it looked like Friday because all the grounds and track were completely underwater at 5PM yesterday.

Saylorville rise now forecast by the Corps Of Engineers to rise 37 feet to over 875ft, between today and the 5th.

Spillway 884, pneumatic gates can lift that to 890.

Linn Grove hit almost 30' (record was 24.1') in the last hour.

Cherokee is close to a record, if not over -- no observations in the last 12+ hours.

Correctionville is at 26' now, on its way to 31'+ tomorrow. Record is 29.3', back in 1891. For those familiar with the area, the L36 (county road) bridge going north out of town is overtopped at 26' -- the current reading.

Bad link on my end. The worst flooded rivers up there drain to the Missouri, good for us but not for people down stream along the border.

JFC, I was up their yesterday ripping out carpet in my parents basement, they live in Spirit Lake. Its not pretty up there.
