Well, if we weren’t in a drought it would be much worse.Flood watch now out in Omaha for the Missouri River. Predicted crest between 32 and 33 feet, which would make it the 5th highest crest recorded. This would be very close to shutting down both I-29 and I-680 North of Omaha. Crest is forecast for somewhere in the Monday to Wednesday period next week.

The Madison isthmus was largely underwater Wednesday after getting 3 inches of rain in an *hour* and with storms coming today and tomorrow another flood warning is out.
I've been out of town and had no idea about this.
I remember that happening a few years ago. There would be random little ponds/streams in the streets.
