Radar rotation has gotten much stronger and tighter over the last 10 minutes. Right over Omaha/CB border.

Looks like it would have passed right over the airport as well.

Another good example of terrain not being a shield from tornadoes. It's not breaking them up. (See also: Carver Rd, Winterset)

Just heard one of their weather guys tell people in rural areas near the path of the storms to go to the basement immediately. "45 minutes in your basement could save your life."

Parents can see the tornado by Underwood now. Luckily far enough away and not in the path.

The amount of rotation on the Nola storm is crazy it might produce another huge one.

I'm reading this with weather nerdiness, then concern for all my friends in Omaha, THEN my freakin' brain reminds me my FIL and his wife live in west Omaha.
