Not sure where it started or ended but my crop tour took me from a couple miles south Eagle Grove in line to 5 miles west of Blairsburg. Lots of hailed on crops. South of EG was the worst. Corn was ready to tassel is now less than 2ft tall. One customer of mine said golf ball size hail fell for almost 15 minutes there.

NW pottawattie under severe thunderstorm with 1” hail and 50 gusts, heading for Harlan area around 7. Sister in North CB had deck covered in hail, 3 rd time this year.

Interesting. I noticed today that two of my neighbors have large ones in their yard.

Its usually caused by dead or old roots. Its harmless when it dries out. I am sure the grass is bright green in the circke.

Any bad hail in the last 12-24 hours other than West Bend and Whittemore? Some crops are really bad over there. West of Algona.

Eagle Grove got some hail, but not sure how bad.

Saw a picture on one of the news station's Facebook pages...looked like the white combine had rolled through a field by Eagle Grove.

As a side note to this apparently certain types can be deadly to dogs. I haven't seen anything yet in my yard but my neighbors have had some. We have a puppy who's first impulse is to eat anything it sees so it's something I'm really looking out for.
