I don’t LOVE the move, but my $$ is on the FO wanting Caissie to get consistent at bats in Iowa and care less about Mastro rotting in Chicago
Once the Iowa season is over, I’d bet we see a real talent come up
PCA with that bunt today that he ended up at 3B on the throwing error was a thing of beauty. Throw was rushed because of his speed and he never quit running on the play. This kid is really coming into his own lately. I realize they don't want to mess with a hot streak too much but feels like he's making a case to take over the leadoff spot. Probably won't happen this year but if he can play like this consistently going forward he should be at the top of the order next season. They moved Swanson from 7 to 2 so moving PCA up is not out of the question. Happ is not a leadoff hitter, much more suited for the 2 5 or 6 spot.

The bullpen has been well over expectations for basically piecing it together off the scrap heap so you gotta expect a night like this once in awhile.
