Nothing encapsulates the Cubs long history of an inept front office like LaTroy.
Let's sign the best set up guy on earth, who's always struggled as a closer, to close and wonder why it didn't work.
Man you never know what to expect with this Cubs team but if you look at the rest of the Cubs schedule it is VERY favorable for still somehow just being 4 back in the Wild Card.
These 4 series appear to be the toughest remaining:
August 12-14 @ Cleveland (and Cleveland has currently lost 7 in a row)
Sept. 6-8 NY Yankees
Sept. 9-11 @ LA Dodgers
Sept. 23-25 @ Philadelphia (Phillies could be resting some guys for the Playoffs by this point)

Finally get the bullpen fixed and we're starting to see holes in the starters. Hendricks seems to be good for about 4. non competitive pitches. Taillon did not look good at all last night. Constantly letting the leadoff on. Steele has even struggled at times. Killian hopefully can help down the stretch but I have my doubts.
Taillon's ERA would be under 3.00 if you took out the two starts against the White Sox.

They are on the Fox 17 sub channel. No announcers however. Unsure if it's on purpose or not.
My Fubu has KDSM and another fox, I think it's Omaha. Anyway the 2nd Fox has the Cubs on.
Anyone know what was happening in the outfield before the bottom of the 9th.
