It's really impressive, honestly. Some of the loops now are showing things like specific supercell areas. Saw a projection for a major one near Little Rock - curious to see if that pans out.

I feel that's usually how it works but this one seems to have a lot of juice so may not matter...

We are on our way to Sioux City from DSM. When we left DSM, it was 65 and I see it’s around 75 now. We just went though Missouri Valley on I-29 and it’s 45 here.

Not necessarily. The first round will likely be less widespread and more stand alone supercellular. The second round on the cold front will become linear after development.
