******* global warming can’t even muster a bluster over Waukee. Mother Nature sure is a lazy *****.

Sounds like we may get some frizzle here in the DSM/Ames corridor now. Megan on WHO sounded like the snow line may shift further east. Gotta wait and see. Like the Crow Tow kid says, “Are you ready?”

So...this storm seems to be more and more of an issue for western Iowa than eastern Iowa correct? The Council Bluffs forecast looks nasty while the Cedar Rapids forecast seems more like a generic snowfall?

NWS says 1-4 inches in CR, but with a glaze of ice. That makes me nervous.

WHO says 3.5 inches of snow in Ames. (Down from 4.5 yesterday)

clown news KCCI once again scared to give a real projection due to fears of being wrong, so they just give a wide range of 3-6 inches of Snow. (Better than 1-7 I guess)

Both correct. Also with the low seeming to want to track right over the area we will get dry slotted overnight and the wrap around tomorrow morning seems to be minimal right now.

I'm trying to decide if I should drive to Waterloo tonight after work. Not too worried about getting there, it would be the return trip I am worried about later on in the night.

WEather Underground still says Grimes is getting 7 inches. But the rest of the metro is a few inches less than that. I guess we'll see.
