And the droughski continues to be "extreme" for my hood in Minnesota. Down over 10" of precipitation for the year, just 64% of normal. Last year was dry to but only down 5" from normal at this same point. Two years running and it will start to effect trees/shrub. Been trying to encourage peeps to really soak in their evergreens for winter. If we get a bad winter on top of the continuing drought it might be hell on the evergreens.

This is a pretty depressing read.

This drought cycle could exceed the 1930s. We are at a tremendous deficit right now, and if things don't shift soon things are looking really bad for next year.

Not a good cycle to be in.

Northern Texas was in it so bad a few years ago the reservoir that serviced Wichita Falls was almost dry.

Cycle changed and it took about 6 months to get it back to normal. So hopefully that happens here soon.

High of 59 here tomorrow will be lowest high temp since at least January. Supposed to rain so hopefully that occurs.

Not exactly sure.
Had a big orange "pumpkin bag" filled with leaves in my front yard in the Twin Cities. Saw it again in the spring.
I one time put our Christmas tree out front when we had a NYE party, it disappeared overnight. It showed back up around Valentine’s Day.

Check out the temps starting on Friday. Another site I go to has forecasted 9 straight days in the 30's.

This might be a first for me. Windows in the house open in November and I'm hot. I'll take it though because the rest of the week looks like crap.

Weird weather in the northland. Warm and very humid. Car fogged up when I pulled out of the garage, not your normally November thingy. It's going to crash and burn around noon tomorrow when it starts a 30 degree fall in 12 hours.

Big rain here seems have been a bust but 3/4" was at least something.
