You then are going with Jones or Ward at the 5. Is that good enough?

Would like it to be better. However, we just replaced Conditt with Ward. Probably an even swap coming off a sweet 16 year. So Yeah not to shabby. The backcourt is where we are going to need a scorer in my opinion

True, think we have improved overall and if we add that one guard we keep mentioning on here we should be ok. My concern is if our offense stays the same and we keep utilizing our big up high, it would be nice to have a big who can shoot a little or put the ball on the floor instead of just being a passer up high

Did graduated transfers have to enter the transfer portal by May 1?

Only exceptions seem to be if there is a coaching change or you're informed that you're scholarship isn't renewed after the deadline. Those players have to be in the portal by June 1st

With IB not invited to NBA combine, nor the G-league invite like AJG, is he eligible to come back or did he hire an agent? Not saying he would, I think that's not something on his list to do, but was just wondering.

If we get AJG, next year is gonna be another “imagine if we had a decent big man” year. AGAIN.

A lot depends on Tre King. If he can be that dependable inside/outside threat at the 4 our post play will be much improved. We struggled big time last season with a post who could dribble from the high post.

If King is the real deal, that will allow Kunc to play some 5 when matchups allow.

Holmes, Williams, Green, Kalscheur and Grill would be a pretty solid guard/wing group to build off.

I think so. We've upgraded athleticism and defense with Ward probably without much drop-off offensively from Conditt and upgraded, offensively, with Tre King. Assuming King's year in the system has him defending at a high level, we could see a lot of King and Kunc on the floor together and that is a big upgrade to the post, offensively.

I think worst case in the front-court we add a guy that's an upgrade over Jones offensively which gives us options off the bench for Ward.
