"I have heard from Pittsburgh, Temple, Loyola Chicago, Loyola Marymount, Georgetown, Creighton, Iowa State, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Virginia Tech, Oklahoma, Pepperdine, Georgia Tech, Appalachian State, College of Charleston, Marquette and Penn State," he said.

How many mid major transfers have we gotten in the last 10 years that performed well? Seems like that number is really low.

Yeah mid majors make me nervous. They better have crazy efficiency numbers or several games against good competition to see how they did.

Fred did fine with them. Nader, Jake, Kane, Booker...I think you could call that 3/4, with one grand slam. Nader might just be a two run shot.

The guy who brought in all the disappointing mid major guys had some other serious flaws as coach. I don't think we should be basing everything off of our experiences with him.

TJ has spent much more time around p6 basketball and specifically the big 12. I trust his ability to evaluate and identify big 12 caliber better than his predecessor.
