I completely forgot about Jake and Nader. I wouldn’t call Booker much of a success.
Hence 3/4.
Don't get me wrong, I don't want to go with Prohm's strategy of bringing in almost exclusively mid major guys but there are good ones out there. It's about finding the right fit.
Just think about Fred's 3 successes, Jake, Nader and Kane. All guys that came in as p6 players physically and athletically. Can't say that about most of Prohm's guys.
The other benefit those guys had that the players Prohm brought in didn't, was there really wasn't a ton of pressure on them. Kane had a big role but he also had Ejim and Niang already here. Coming in to the season, he was really only asked to play 3rd fiddle to those guys. Jake's season was a rebuild.
Prohm had a lot of mid major guys come in to play big roles on a teams expecting to go to the tourney.
So if it were up to me, I'd hope TJ was looking at size, athleticism and their ability to handle the role they'll be asked to play.
