I mean, that's what Jones gives us correct? With a little more height and less weight? I don't think we need a team of them.I know its been mentioned on this board that JUCO basketball doesn't produce as many effective players as it used to, but watching the SDSU Jackrabbitts, what's wrong with getting a 6'7" bruiser like Doug Wilson out of none other than Des Moines (by way of Kirkwood). I don't mean as a transfer, I just mean a guy 'like him' to give us some strength in the low post. He impresses me. A wide body 6'7' that's athletic would seem to be better than a 6'10" who isn't athletic.
I want Jones to stay obviously. But I'm talking that Wilson was more athletic, backed guys down in the post, had an offensive game, so-to-speak. Nowhere did I imply I want two more Jones.I mean, that's what Jones gives us correct? With a little more height and less weight? I don't think we need a team of them.
Gainey is a shorter/smaller version of Cato.
Dudes on the Jordan Bohannaon plan and in his 6th year of college basketball so he’s probably moving onPeter Kiss from Bryant University would be nice. Dude is a Stud!!!
If we don’t add shooters, no one will be backing down anyone in the post without getting double/triple teamed.I want Jones to stay obviously. But I'm talking that Wilson was more athletic, backed guys down in the post, had an offensive game, so-to-speak. Nowhere did I imply I want two more Jones.
He looks like a good player but also like a massive, massive douche.Peter Kiss from Bryant University would be nice. Dude is a Stud!!!

It's fun to watch his dominate the Dookies.I like a big that can get mad at the rim. He looks like he'll grab any ball within his rather large wingspan.

Big Want. Moving him to the top of my current list.
I'm excited about a guy like this too, I do worry sometimes this would be Merrill Holden 2.0.Big Want. Moving him to the top of my current list.

King is more of a 3/4 than a 4/5.This guy has more alley-oops in the first minute of his highlight video than Iowa State has had all season.
Gotta think Tyrese would love playing with a player like this. Can Tre King fill a role like that though?
From what highlights I've seen, Tre King fits that skill-set. He has nice low post moves and can flex out and hit a jumper.I want Jones to stay obviously. But I'm talking that Wilson was more athletic, backed guys down in the post, had an offensive game, so-to-speak. Nowhere did I imply I want two more Jones.
Gainey seems to fit the bill of taller post. 6'9'' has him in the same range as Jones/Conditt.From what highlights I've seen, Tre King fits that skill-set. He has nice low post moves and can flex out and hit a jumper.
I expect to have at least 4 scholarships available this spring, with the 2 priorities being scoring wing and taller post. After that, they can target specific skill players. I would anticipate a high volume/high % 3 point shooter as the other focus.
Kiss reminds me of Gronkowski.Looks like a guy who likes to rock 'n' roll all night and party everyday.
