Is a guy like David Jenkins Jr. a for sure pass for TJ? He followed Otzelberger to SDSU and UNLV and the Vegas media makes it seem like there was conflict between the two but if you read Jenkins’s Twitter, he refutes those claims.
The dude can flat out shoot and has 50 career games with three or more made 3’s. He could literally shoot us back into games next year—-that seemed to be the one thing missing on this year’s team.

IMO he is worth a spot just his shooting could help this team, yeah his defensive numbers aren’t great but we have plenty of good to great defenders to get him minutes, with that said it isn’t happening, there has been zero contact with him...
In his recruiting video that he made, he listed his wingspan as only 6’8.’ Looks like an interesting prospect though.
If you can make threes and we can hide you on D, there has to be interest.
Yeah it's strange how we are showing no interest in players like Walton or Jenkins. Yet they are being recruited by good p6 teams.
Walton was looking for the most money, we were never going to be in the mix for him, no idea on Jenkins just that they had a rocky relationship at unlv
I doubt a player averaging 3 ppg is getting paid much.
The staff knows both players well and I assume doesn’t see either as a fit for the culture they have set.
