My eccentric neighbor was out mowing yesterday here in Ames. He also put a car in the garage, a car that sits out all year along with the fact that none of his cars ever goes into their empty garage, since it is going to snow. Last year he moved two of the three cars to the Kohls parking lot when we were about to get a big snow, which the lot is 3 blocks from where he lives. He has a snowblower but never uses it. Whenever I try to talk to him he will never look me face to face, he always looks off to the side.
29, you need to move.

What’s the update on Saturday? Someone just told me a model came back this morning in the 10-11” range for the DSM area. I have another saying it’s shifting south.

Timing and location not ideal for the last leg of a 30-hour trip with 8 charter buses returning the marching band back home from the bowl game...

Are they staying until tomorrow or leaving tonight? Regardless they should still get back to Ames well before this as long as they don't stay past noon tomorrow.

Their scheduled arrival time in Ames, last I heard before my sister left, was 11am on new years day.

Buses move slowly. 28 hour drive was what they were planning on, iirc.

It got slick out in a hurry with the snow this afternoon! Covered up a few patches of ice on the trail. Remembered to look for them on the way out, didn't on the way back...will see how my knees feel in the morning...
