First model runs tonight have shifted the precip field further north. Have to see if things hold but up to Hwy 20 looks more in play. Previously Hwy 30 looked more like the cutoff.

What’s being predicted?

Definitely not the Canadian GEM depicted in that other post, but they’re both showing a significant swath of 10-12 inches with Des Moines on the northern edge of that 8-10 zone. Again, not a prediction. But it’s telling. It’ll be interesting to see what the model runs tomorrow morning will look like.
