I take my criticism back. The committee did a fine job with their placement of USC and Oregon

From what i can find, going back to 1950, their worst NCAA tourney loss was in 1974, by 17. It seems pretty likely they'll beat that

Kansas's biggest loss in tournament history is 18 points. This is an HISTORIC beatdown that USC is putting down on them.

These teams are running 6'6 guards out there against teams with traditional bigs like McCormack and Garza and absolutely blowing them out of the gym.

Yeah, the seeding was obviously way off, but I don't think the Pac 12 got much love in the actual rankings. The media also has a role in perception. 25% of the Sweet 16 field is going to be from the Pac 12, this is RIDICULOUS.

Maybe next year they should watch some games and rely on better metrics to seed teams instead of whatever the media tells them is the best conference.

I know USC and Colorado are both Top 12 teams on computer metrics but the committee had them as 5 and 6 seeds.

Then you have Oregon who won the conference, has the conference POY, and has 6 out of thier top 7 guys juniors and seniors. Not to mention Altman has Top 10 recruiting classes 2 out of 3 years, but yeah, totally a 7 seed.

What a crazy tournament so far. At least 10 conferences represented in the Sweet 16 and the "best" conferences each only have 1 team left. The "worst" conference has 4 teams left. No other conference has more than 2.
