They were seeded to achieve something of that level.

Even two in the Elite 8 is kind of underachieving when the committee looks at the conference and says it has HALF of all the elite teams in the country.

I just disagree. If those three go to seed and half the Final Four is Big Ten teams it's hard to argue because they showed they earned their seeds. If the Big 12 ever had two Final Fours and another in the Elite Eight we would be puffing our chest. To say otherwise is just lying to yourself.

Yep, that never makes sense to me. Make an attempt to go to the hoop ... kick out if there's too much resistance if someone is open at the 3, but at least a shot at drawing a foul in the paint.

For comparison, there were 5 overtime games total in the 2019 tournament.

The 2017 tournament had NO overtimes.

The most overtimes in any tournament all-time is 7 (1995, 1997, 2014)
